1966 Pontiac GTO Tri-Power

Fully restored, numbers matching

This is a rare real numbers-matching 242 coded 1966 GTO hard top with factory WS coded 360 HP Tri-power 389, Muncie M20 4-speed & 3.55 Posi-traction original rear-end and PHS documentation

This tri-power 66 GTO was built during the 3rd week of April 1966 so it was one of the very last tri-power GTO to ever be produced since less than 20% of all 66 GTO were WS factory coded and 1966 was the last year tri-power was offered in a GTO

The car has completely restored and has been driven only 255 miles since the completion of the restoration. The car has been professionally painted with GM EvenStar Blue Charcoal paint, all trim is bright and straight and the glass is excellent. It is an understatement to say this is one of the most beautiful GTOs ever produced.

The tri-power 66 GTO is a real pleasure to drive. It has plenty of power at [...]

The original owner opted for a 6 cylinder engine, but was swapped for a 440 at some point. This car has power steering and power brakes, making this car fast, but also easy to handle. This thing really scoots down the road with 375 horsepower and 480 ft-lb of torque. If you can resist roasting the rear tires, it will do the quarter in 14 flat.

This particular car has recently undergone [...]
