1960 Ford Thunderbird Survivor for sale – Pittsburgh PA Only 32,500 miles!
Original paint, original interior, original engine and driveline, engine has been freshened up along with serviceable parts such as brakes and fluids. Below I will go over the condition of the car.
Exterior: Original paint and it looks great! At first I had to really look to see if it was a professional repaint. I had to go beyond looking and touching, I used a paint measurement apparatus to help determine the paint was original. This bird has OEM 1960 paint. It measures right front to back with NO repairs on any portion of the car. The chrome, trim, emblems and glass are all in outstanding condition. Lights and indicators work as they should!
Interior: All original and in really great condition. No rips or tears. There is some wear on the seats due to age but they are still in great condition. Nothing has been replaced and everything works with the exception of the clock being intermittent (needs taken apart and lubed). The doors open and shut as they should, the windows go up and down smoothly! Carpet, door panels, dash, dash pad, headliner, all upholstery is original and very nice. It is very clear this car has had a wonderful life always being taken care of. The interior smells new.
Mechanical: The 352 4 Barrel snaps to life quickly and runs VERY good! It idles nice, sounds great, pulls very strong and runs cool. The engine has been professionally rebuilt and all of the wear items are new and fresh. The block, heads, carb, distributor and all of the dated parts are original. While the factory rating on this car is 300 HorsePower, it sure does seem to have a bit more than that! The transmission shifts smoothly, the car handles and stops as if it were new.
