For your consideration is a fully restored 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe.  Commonly known as the ever sought after “Split Window”.  This stunningly near perfect car has recently achieved its TOP FLIGHT AWARD along with many “Presidents Choice” and 1st Place awards.   The excellence in restoration and preservation was awarded in 2014.  This ’63 remains in Top Flight condition with no blemishes.   I will go through the condition in detail below.

Exterior:

Finished in its original color of Sebring Silver the exterior of this car has no visible flaws. The paint, glass, bumpers, emblems and trim are as they would have been leaving the factory when the car was new.  Everything used to restore this car was of the highest quality.  Preparation for this paint is 2nd to none.  10 out of 10. 

Interior:  

Its hard to beat an all black interior.  The interior of this car is in pristine condition with no visible flaws.  Everything works.  All of the lights, gauges, clock, radio, etc work as they should.  Bright work is all either restored or NOS.   10 out of 10. 

Underside:

There are no viable flaws or scrapes.  The underside of this Corvette has been restored to the condition of new exactly the way it came from the factory.  It has no leaks or issues. 10 out of 10. 

Drive Train:  

327/300HP 4 Speed!  This car, its engine, transmission, and its components are all numbers matching.  It runs great, very strong, shifts smooth, handles well, stops great.  It functionally is exactly what the car was like when its new.  Everything is fresh and has been restored with only a few 1000 miles since full restoration.  If purchased at the asking price, this Corvette will also come with a new set of Torque Thrust II Chrome wheels and new radial tires if you plan on putting on the miles.  Bias ply tires that are on it look great, are fresh, tons of tread and look great.  The engine compartment gets a 9.5 out of 10. A 10 was not given due to some of the decals on the valve covers needing replaced.
