For your consideration is a fabulous example of a ’66 Thunderbird. This T-bird is a rust free survivor car. While it has had one repaint and its engine compartment detailed, this car hasn’t been restored. All of its panels, doors, hood and trunk are original and show no signs of body work. The floors, trunk floor, all parts of the car are rust free and solid. If you look through the pictures you will see a few of the underside. Underneath the factory undercoating you can still see the red-oxide panels! The car still retains its oem bumper jack which looks like it hasn’t been touched since the car was new.
With just over 32,000 miles the original 390 Z code FE runs VERY STRONG. At 315 HP & 427 TQ, this car is no slouch. She will get up and fly. Combine that with a very healthy Cruise-O-Matic and 9″ rear, this drive line is stout! The transmission shifts firm and nice, the rear end is quiet and works as it should.
Power steering and power disk brakes help make this car enjoyable and fun to drive for just about anyone, its easy to drive!
Complete new exhaust (all to factory spec), new battery, new brakes. This car is ready to go.
