• Recently acquired (but not titled) by the current owner. Purchased from original owner ( a neighbor) who owned it for 40 years.

1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible 427

This rare 427 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is a true garage find having been stored since 1978. The originality of this Corvette is remarkable. The paint, interior, and drivetrain are all original. The tank sticker is still in place on top of gas tank. This Corvette was recently pulled out of the former owner’s  garage, and remains in its untouched condition.

This Corvette was optioned with the L68 400hp 427 with the 3×2 carburetor and 4 speed transmission. The engine is numbers matching. The original number’s matching 3×2 carb is with the car, howerver a 4 barrel carb and intake is currently installed.

The Rally Red exterior appears as original paint with some touch ups. There are various scratches and small chips typical of a barn find car. The car could remain a “survivor,” or it could be restored to factory condition. The white soft-top is in good condition. The hardtop is included with the car.

The interior is the standard black vinyl. The interior shows minimal wear and is in good condition. The original radio is included, although not currently installed. This car was optioned with the rare Speed Warning Light.
