For your consideration is a cosmetically and mechanically restored 1966 428 Tri-power 4 Speed Pontiac GTO.  The restoration is has less than 2000 miles and happened only about 4 years ago.  Everything on the car is fresh and it was built to drive and show!  

Engine – Fresh solid lifter 428 dressed as a 389 with a few upgrades to help motivate a bit quicker then it did from the factory.  With the help of a little more cam shaft, mild port work, electronic ignition and headers, this 428 really is fine!  The car doesn’t idle too rough but it has a very nice sound to it.  The duals do give away the extra power but its fitting for the car. The car stays right at 180* even in 90* city traffic.  It does run on pump fuel with no issues.  

Transmission – The 4 speed has been gone through and it shifts just as it should! Smooth and the shifter is night and tight.  Its a dream to row though the gears on this one. 

Suspension and Brakes – Suspension is all fresh and new.  The brakes are as well but have been upgraded to 4 wheel disks for modern stopping.  This car is perfect in daily traffic.  

Body – Fresh professional paint and chrome.  Rust free car that is absolutely stunning!  It will be one of the best looking GTOs at your cruise!  

Interior – Fresh upholstery, carpet, headliner. A beautiful dash and this car is very comfortable drive!  The heat blows hot and the air conditioning blows very cold.  The factory gauges all work along with the Tachometer and aftermarket analog gauges.  Everything works. 

This is a very sorted out car that is quick, safe and fun to drive.  I had it out all day today with the windows up and the AC on, its 91* ambient, i’m comfortable and so is the car!  A truly fun car. Original wheels are included.
