This 1972 Buick GSX convertible tribute is a beautifully built, rotisserie restored, big block convertible.

The interior of this Buick features all newly upholstered white seats with black carpet and wood accents. This car has many optional extras such as power windows, tilt steering column, Sonomatic radio, and 3 spoke steering wheel. Overall, the interior is in excellent restored condition.

The exterior of this GSX has a near perfect paint job in metallic green. The owner claims the sheet metal is all original. Some exterior features are two matt black hood stripes stripes, wrap around side and rear deck stripe, hood scoops, rear spoiler, new 5 spoke chrome wheels, blacked out grill with GSX badge, front air dam, power convertible top, and hood tach. The undercarriage is detailed as well. Evident of the frame off, rotisserie restoration, all the underside components are primered in black and there are no signs of patchwork. Judging by the fit and finish of the exterior, this was a high quality restoration.

Mechanically, this GSX is fitted with the big block Buick 455 CI engine that has been fully rebuilt. It’s attached to an automatic transmission and sends power to the rear wheels through a 3.42 Positraction rear end. This car was also fitted with power front disk brakes and power steering making it easy to drive.
This Buick GSX also comes with a book with detailed photographs of the restoration process. Overall, this GSX is a beautifully restored and is ready to drive and enjoy for any potential buyer. This vehicle is held on consignment and is not owned by Fort Pitt Classic Cars.
