1968 Ford XL GT 428

Here at Fort Pitt Classic Cars is a very rare and special 68 Ford. With less than 100 produced in this configuration proven by a Marti Report, this car is special indeed!  This is what we call a “check the box” car, it has every luxury option available in 1968.

While it is officially called a Ford XL GT, this car is the highest trim level available for a 1968 full size ford otherwise known as a Galaxie.  This special car is here for fresh paint and some other restoration items.

Fort Pitt Classic Cars has teamed up with the owners of this SS to be a part of their journey.  The journey is to take this Chevelle SS from stock to a modernized car.  Keep an eye out for this car at Barrett Jackson – Scottsdale in 2019!  This car will be rolling across the block Thursday 1.17.19 during prime time viewing (6-8 pm in Arizona)
